Quinn Family Symposium Series
The Quinn Family Symposium Series exists to bring together students and faculty together to discuss big ideas related to the Catholic Intellectual Tradition and their relevance to the contemporary world. Each symposium features a distinguished guest to Providence College who leads a discussion with 4 faculty and 12 students. The seminar shares a meal together alongside their discussion. The CCDS hosts four Quinn symposia per year: the St. Thomas Aquinas Symposium on Philosophy and Theology, the St. Joseph Symposium on History, Justice, and Peace, the St. Catherine of Siena Symposium on Spirituality and the Frontiers of Evangelization, and the St. Albert the Great Symposium on Faith and Science.
This year’s Quinn lineup features Dr. Catherine Sims Kuiper (Hillsdale College), Dr. Brigid Flaherty Staab (Assumption College), Fr. William Dailey, C.S.C. (University of Notre Dame), and Dr. Thomas Hibbs (Baylor University).
